Important Note on Prescription Glasses:
Please be aware that prescription lenses are custom-made to your unique specifications. Once an order is placed and lenses are crafted, the personalised product cannot be resold to another customer. Therefore, we urge you to select your frame carefully and ensure your prescription details are entered accurately before proceeding.
Ordering Steps:
1.Choose Your Frame: Browse our collection and add your favourite frame to the shopping cart.
2.Enter Your Prescription:On the frame selection page, locate the "Prescription Details" section. Enter your prescription data accurately and save it. Incorrect data will affect the final fit and performance of your glasses.
3.Select Your Lenses: Once your prescription is saved successfully, proceed to choose your lenses from the options below. You will be directed to the lens product page. Here, select the lens specifications (e.g., material, coatings) based on your prescription and personal needs, then add them to your cart.
4.Important: Each lens index (refractive index) has a specified maximum power range. These limits are clearly displayed on the selection buttons (e.g., Index 1.56 is suitable for SPH 0.00 to -4.00, CYL 0.00 to -4.00, ADD 0.00 to +3.00). If your prescription exceeds these limits, a higher index will be recommended.
If you require any assistance, please contact our customer service team.
5.Ordering Multiple Frames with the Same Lenses: If you wish to purchase several frames with the same lens specifications, you do not need to re-enter your prescription for each one. Simply add the additional frames to your cart.
6.Different Frames with Different Lenses in One Order: If you want different frames paired with different types of lenses and submit them as a single order, please add a note in the order submission page or contact us directly. Clearly state which frame is to be paired with which lens specification.
7.Final Checkout: Go to your shopping cart, review the items, and proceed to checkout. On the final order submission page, please double-check your prescription details and the products in your order for accuracy.
Lens Prescription Guidance & Advice:
1.🌟 Full Correction is Generally Best: For optimal vision, "full correction" (aiming for 20/20 vision or "6/6" in metric) is typically recommended.
2.⭕️ For Distance Tasks (e.g., Driving): If you require glasses primarily for distance vision (like driving), a full correction to achieve 20/20 vision or better is perfectly suitable.
3.⭕ For Near/Intermediate Tasks (e.g., Screens, Reading): For adults who use glasses mainly for near work (computers, phones, books), a slight under-correction of up to -0.25D or -0.50D may be considered to reduce eye strain. This is a consideration for adults only.
4.⭕ For Children & Teenagers: For minors and students whose eyes are still developing, full correction (aiming for 20/20 vision) is strongly advised. Do not under-correct their prescription, as this can encourage myopia progression.
⭕ Effects of Over/Under-Correction:
Over-correction (too strong): May make distance vision sharper but can cause eye strain, fatigue, aching, or headaches during prolonged near work.
Under-correction (too weak): Results in blurred vision, leading to visual fatigue and potentially accelerating the increase of myopia over time.
👍 Binocular Balance: Generally, for those without amblyopia (lazy eye), the goal is for both eyes to be balanced and achieve 20/20 vision together.
Astigmatism (CYL) Guidance:
1.If your astigmatism is less than 0.50D, it is often advised that no cylinder correction is needed in the glasses.
2.For astigmatism of 0.75D or more, correction is usually recommended. A slight under-correction of -0.25D is often advised (e.g., if your prescription says CYL -1.00, consider ordering CYL -0.75).
3.Simple Explanation: Astigmatism means the eye is shaped more like a rugby ball than a perfect sphere, causing light to scatter and vision to be blurry or distorted. Full correction can sometimes force the eye's focusing system to work very hard, leading to fatigue. A slight under-correction can provide a more comfortable "buffer," reducing strain, especially for children or during extensive near work.
